Oslo-based Edda Wind is expanding its fleet of offshore wind service vessels with an order for two Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOV).
Edda Wind was launched in 2018 by Wilhelmsen and Østensjø, who each own 50% of the company. The company specializes in owning and operating service vessels supporting maintenance work conducted during the commissioning and operation of offshore wind parks.
Edda Wind currently has two vessels in service and four cutting edge, low-emission service vessels on order with delivery expected 2022. Today’s order will increase its fleet to eight CSOVs.
